for John Triggs 1920-2018

     The Lord is my shepherd,
    there is nothing I shall want .
  1. The Lord is my shepherd, there is nothing I shall want.
    In green, green pastures God gives me rest;
    beside restful waters God leads me on
    and refreshes my soul.
  2. The Lord will guide me on the paths of righteousness.
    In death's dark valley I fear no ill;
    with God at my right side to lead me on
    and give courage to me.
  3. You anoint me with oil and my cup overflows.
    Goodness and kindness are with me all my days.
    I shall dwell in God's house all the days of my life,
    now and evermore.
