Psalm 122

  • Refrain:
     Our eyes are on the Lord
    till God shows us mercy.
  1. To you have I lifted up my eyes,
    you who dwell in the heavens.
    My eyes, like the eyes of a slave
    on the hands of their lord.
  2. Like the eyes of a servant
    on the hand of her mistress,
    so our eyes are on the Lord our God,
    till God shows us mercy.
  3. Have mercy on us,
    we are filled with contempt.
    Indeed, too full is our soul with scorn,
    with the proud man's distain.
