My soul give praise to the Lord

Psalm 145

  • Refrain:
My soul, give praise to the Lord,
    Alleluia, alleluia!
  1. The Lord keeps faith for ever,
and is just to those who are oppressed,
it's God who gives bread to the hungry,
the Lord who set prisoner free.
  2. The Lord gives sight to the sightless,
and raises up those who're bowed down,
the Lord loves those who show justice,
    the Lord protects the stranger.
  3. The Lord upholds the homeless,
    but turns against wicked ones,
the Lord will reign for ever,
    from age to age, Amen.
