My God, my God

Psalm 21

  • Refrain:
    My God, my God,
    why have you forsaken me, my God?
  1. See all who despise me,
    all those who scorn me;
    they mock at me saying: 'Save him, Lord!'
  2. They have pierced my hands and feet,
    wounded my side;
    and they throw lots for the clothes I wear.
  3. Hear the words that I have spoken,
    cry-ing unto you to hear me;
    do not abandon me my hour in of need!
  4. Through the pain I sing your praises
    for the world to know your glory;
    all the ends of the earth will know your name.
