Lord from the dawning of each day

  1. Lord, from the dawning of each day
    we struggle here to find a way
    to give all people hope and light,
    show justice, sow peace, proect right.
  2. We are your children, and, we pray,
    for love to keep us through the day;
    the times we want to hear your voice
    to guide us as we make our choice.
  3. You came among us, here on earth,
    and suffered like us, from your birth;
    you share our burdens, know our pain,
    and love us still: forgive again.
  4. You are the stars that shine at night;
    our way is guided by your light
    that shines in those where love is shown:
    your word is heard and message sown.
